No Chintz

Optimising No Chintz’s eCommerce Operations with Neto–MYOB Exo Integration

No Chintz

THE CHALLENGE

No Chintz, a well-known Australian textiles and home décor retailer, manages a large and complex product catalogue consisting of thousands of fabrics, trims, and custom materials sold by the metre. Their catalogue includes intricate purchasing rules such as minimum lengths, 50cm increments, and metre-based pricing, all of which must remain accurate across both their MYOB Exo system and their Neto storefront.

As their online sales grew, maintaining consistent product, pricing, and stock information across systems became increasingly difficult. Neto’s strict API limits made it challenging to sync over 4,000 SKUs reliably, resulting in delays, manual workarounds, and inconsistent data. Staff often had to update products manually, reconcile warehouse stock with sold quantities, and reprocess orders whenever sync failures occurred.

Additionally, No Chintz needed a way to accurately handle discounts, coupon codes, and shipping information across platforms, ensuring that customers received correct totals and fulfilment updates. Without automation, the workflow was time-consuming and error-prone, limiting scalability and impacting operational efficiency. No Chintz required a robust, automated integration that could manage their unique selling rules, high product volumes, and need for real-time accuracy between systems.

THE SOLUTION

To solve these challenges, we delivered a purpose-built Neto–MYOB Exo integration designed to manage the complexity of fabric retailing at scale. The solution forms a direct link between the two systems, automatically synchronising key data, including product information, inventory levels, pricing, orders, and fulfilment updates, with a focus on reliability and precision.

To accommodate No Chintz’s extensive product catalogue, the integration was engineered to operate smoothly within Neto’s strict API thresholds while still supporting thousands of SKUs. Advanced length-handling logic was introduced, ensuring purchasing rules such as metre-based pricing, minimum order lengths, and half-metre increments were accurately reflected in every transaction.

When an order is placed, the system confirms length selections, applies promotions or discounts, and sends fully validated order data to MYOB Exo. Warehouse stock adjusts immediately, maintaining correct sold and available metreage. A built-in resync tool allows staff to reprocess orders without manually reconstructing data, providing an added layer of reliability.

This tailored integration gives No Chintz a stable technological framework that supports both day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

THE KEY FEATURES
  • Handles over 4,000 SKUs while operating within Neto’s strict API limits.
  • Supports metre-based rules including minimum cuts, 50cm increments, and per-metre pricing.
  • Maintains accurate warehouse and sold-quantity metreage in real time.
  • Processes discounts, coupon codes, and custom length selections in orders.
  • Syncs shipping updates, delivery details, and product changes between systems.

THE RESULT

The new integration has significantly improved the way No Chintz manages products and orders across their platforms. Product listings, stock levels, and pricing now update consistently and automatically, removing the need for time-consuming manual maintenance.

Orders are passed directly from Neto into MYOB Exo with accurate metreage, applied discounts, and complete shipping details, reducing fulfilment errors and ensuring customers receive clear and reliable order information. Real-time inventory updates mean warehouse and online quantities stay aligned, improving stock accuracy for both staff and shoppers.

The automation has enabled No Chintz to operate more efficiently, expand their online offering, and reduce operational risk. The integration now serves as a strong foundation for continued expansion, giving the business confidence to grow without being held back by system limitations or manual processing.
