Pynk Health’s Seamless Splose - Podium Integration

Pynk Health, a leading provider of women’s mental health services across Australia, was managing patient appointments and communications manually across two unconnected systems; Splose for practice management and Podium for SMS and customer engagement. Staff were spending significant time issuing appointment reminders, following up on payments, and updating records. This process was inefficient and diverted focus from patient care. Administrative tasks were repetitive, prone to human error, and required constant manual oversight. As the business scaled, the lack of integration between systems began to impact both internal productivity and the patient experience.

Our team delivered a custom integration between Splose and Podium to automate and simplify patient communication and billing workflows. When an appointment is booked in Splose, Podium automatically schedules an SMS reminder to be sent two business days before the session. After the appointment, once an invoice is created in Splose, Podium sends a payment reminder with a secure link. As soon as the payment is made, Podium updates the invoice status in Splose in real time. This fully automated workflow helps reduce manual imput, minimises errors, and significantly cuts down administrative workload. 

With the new integration in place, Pynk Health’s team can spend less time on manual tasks and more time supporting patients. Appointment no-shows have decreased thanks to timely SMS reminders. Payment delays are minimised with automated prompts, and invoice statuses stay in sync across both platforms.
