A Sage 100 Integration for a BigCommerce store

Sound Productions’ hybrid B2B and B2C site had found a good market foothold with their new BigCommerce store and were seeing steady business growth. However, as a purveyor of high-end audio equipment, they were finding that the overhead associated with the invoicing and shipping process being split between was becoming a pain-point in their processes, as it was split across the BigCommerce storefront and their SAGE 100 ERP.

To alleviate this issue, SoundPro reached out to MyIntegrator to integrate and automate their invoicing and shipping procedure, and make it so that their customers could browse invoices and track shipping from within the BigCommerce store, even as all the processing occurred behind-the-scenes in SAGE 100. 

 

High Fidelity

To minimise operational impact, we built this integration using a custom BigCommerce app, specialised just for SoundPro. This app provided the endpoints for a connection with Sage100 and powered the sync of invoices between the two platforms. With data unified, we could now build a custom module for the BigCommerce store, which gave each SoundPro customer the ability to track their shipping, view their invoices and then pay those invoices quickly and securely through soundpro.com. By containing all the integration within a single app, the system works seamlessly with BigCommerce, and SoundPro have powerful control and detailed analytics available, right in their BigCommerce dashboard.
